Whether you prefer to fly into Walla Walla Regional Airport, drive through the rolling hills, or hop on a bus with fellow Rotarians, there’s a route that fits your style. Let the adventure begin!

Drive

Driving from Seattle to Walla Walla is a scenic and straightforward journey that takes about 4.5 to 5 hours, depending on traffic and stops. The most common route is via I-90 East through Snoqualmie Pass, then south on I-82 near Ellensburg, and finally east on US-12 into Walla Walla. Along the way, you'll pass through beautiful landscapes including rolling hills, river valleys, and charming small towns—making the drive part of the adventure. Whether you're traveling solo or carpooling with fellow Rotarians, it's an easy and enjoyable trip to wine country!

Fly

​Flying to Walla Walla is easy and takes approximately 1.25 - 1.5 hours flying time. Alaska Airlines offers direct flights from Seattle to Walla Walla Regional Airport (ALW), and guests of the Marcus Whitman Hotel can enjoy a free shuttle to and from the airport. You can also fly into Tri-Cities Airport (PSC), just 45 minutes away. Whether you're traveling solo or with fellow Rotarians, air travel gets you to wine country in no time.

Bus

Traveling by bus to Walla Walla is a fun and flexible option—whether you're going solo or organizing a group charter. The trip from Seattle takes about 6.5 hours. Several companies offer comfortable and affordable charter services from Seattle and beyond, with options ranging from mini-coaches to full-size motorcoaches.
