Why Walla Walla?

Walla Walla and The Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference Center were chosen for the Rotary 2026 District Conference for their historical charm, modern amenities, and vibrant local culture. Nestled in Washington's wine country, Walla Walla offers picturesque wineries, fine dining, and outdoor activities. The Marcus Whitman Hotel provides exemplary service and contemporary comfort, making it an ideal venue.

This choice also honors the original plan to host the 2020 District Conference in Walla Walla, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, symbolizing resilience and renewed commitment to community and fellowship.

The Marcus Whitman Hotel in Walla Walla, Washington, will host WWDC 2026, blending historic charm with modern amenities. The hotel offers well-appointed guestrooms with flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations, refrigerators, coffee makers, complimentary Wi-Fi, local calls, and luxurious bath products. Guests can also access a fitness center and pet-friendly rooms.

Getting There

🚗✈️🚌 How to Get to Walla Walla

✈️ Fly from SEA to ALW in about 3.5 hours (including transfers), or fly to PSC and drive/bus the rest—about 4 hours total.

🚗 Drive for a scenic 4.5-hour road trip through the Cascades and Palouse

🚌 Bus with Greyhound or FlixBus—budget-friendly and scenic (~6.5 hours with transfer in Pasco)
🎉 Charter a Bus with your club for a fun, stress-free group ride
